She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Buster" Hobson Winkles and Claudie Alldredge Winkles; her husband William Jack McCaig; her son Stephen Jack McCaig; and her siblings, William Robert Winkles and Polly Holmes.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Jean McCaig Higginbotham (Dan) of Caig's Grocery; her sisters, Sarah Light and Gayle O'Hara (Bob); her granddaughter Jennifer Cameron (David); her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Harrison and Colt; and her cousins, David Cameron, Vance Vest, Michael Vest, John Grandstaff, Tom Summerford, Hank Summerford and Jon Mason.
