He is survived by: his children, David Chappell (Angela), Kris Chappell (Bethany) and Kenya Smith (James); and his grandchildren, Carman McCrary, Hunter Childers, Dylan Smith, Jaelin Chappell, Brody Smith, Mason Chappell and Stella Chappell.
