We announce the death of Ashley Cooper of Fayette, Alabama, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 41. Ashley will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her daughter Jaizlyn Kariah Cooper; her grandparents, Lottie Doughty, Joe Riley and Dorothy Hollis; and her great-grandparent Ruby Doughty.

She is survived by: her parents, Willie Young and Ann Young; her sons, Marzarius Ja'Shun Cooper and Jacaven Bradley Cooper; and her siblings, Demetrice Young and Latonya Young Moore.
