She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Watkins and Sarah Jo Watkins; and her siblings, Don Watkins, Ralph Watkins and Dot Sanford.
She is survived by: her husband Brooks Wilson of Fayette; her children, Russell Wilson of Fayette, Kristi Fisher (Robert) of Fayette, Kelli Porter (Jason) of Fayette and Kasey Kennedy (Brad) of Fayette; her siblings, Mickey Watkins (Annette) of Kennedy, Mackey Watkins (Marilyn) of Belk and Katherine Newman (Larry) of Shoal Creek; and her grandchildren, Ashton Lay (Jeremy), Caitlin Bruce (Johnny), Brady Fisher, Sarah Hayes (Holden), Paige Walker (Devin), Ensleigh Kennedy and Bentley Kennedy. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel (3659 AL-171, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
