He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bernice, Nellie Morrison, Dewy and Addie Mixon. He is survived by: his parents, Dewey Mixon and Bettie Morrison Mixon; his daughter Chelsea Steward (Hayden) of Vernon, AL; his grandsons, Treyson and Thomas Steward; and his brothers, Darwin Mixon (Tina) and Daniel Mixon.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Cemetery (974 Fellowship Rd, Vernon, AL 35592).
