He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Moore and Nellie Moore of Fayette, Alabama.; his wife Jerrie; and his brother James. He is survived by: his children, June Liston (Joey), Dougie Moore, Jr. (Marie) and Sherrie Roe (Brad); his grandchildren, Brooke Mims (Wes), Joseph Liston (Christina), Douglas, Danilyn Moore, Caleb, Joshua and Sarah Roe; his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Emilee, Benjamin, Heather Mims, John and Patrick Liston; and his sisters, Dot Shaddix, Linda Parsons and Charlene Patton (Wayne). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mount Olive First Baptist Church (3200 Mt Olive Rd, Mt Olive, AL 35117). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at the Mount Olive Cemetery.
