With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frankie Walton of Fayette, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2025 at the age of 92. As we bid adieu to Frankie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Frankie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Walton; her parents, B. E. Hocutt and Mary Hocutt; and her siblings, Thomas Hocutt, Johnny Hocutt and Billie Fowler.
She is survived by: her daughter Wanda Smelley (Eddie); her granddaughter Reagan Colburn (Russell Epperson); her sibling's children, Skip and Ruth Hocutt; and her sister Judy Norman.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (3659 AL-171, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
