She was predeceased by: her husband David C. Fowler; her parents, Delmer Cook and Nancy Enis Cook; and her siblings, Paul Cook, Rodney Cook, Charlotte Cook, Faye Lowery and Brenda Fowler.

She is survived by: her son Carlton Fowler (Patty) of Fayette; her granddaughter Jamie Fowler of Tuscaloosa; and her siblings, Bessie Nell Otts of Fayette and Wayne Cook (Shirley). She is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren and 12 step great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
