He was predeceased by : his wife Peggy Harkins Kelley; his grandson Justin Kelley; his parents, Jack Kelley and Annie Bell Hudson Kelley; and his siblings, Edward Kelley, Earnest Kelley, Jackie Kelley, Imogene Carroll, Martha Stripling and Mogene Stamps.

He is survived by : his children, Jim Kelley (Nancy) of Northport and Cindy Duckworth of Fayette; and his siblings, Harold Kelley of Bessemer and Gladys Maddox of Winfield. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel (3659 AL-171, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
