She was predeceased by : her parents, Verlon Jackson Dozier and Nannie B. Brazel Dozier; and her brother Jackie Dozier. She is survived by : her husband Steve Owens of Fayette; her children, Jo Pennington (Robert) of Fayette, Nicholas Brashier (Tammy) of Winfield and Daniel Owens of Zachery, LA; and her siblings, Jimmy Dale Dozier (Susan) of Briarfield, Wayne Dozier of Kennedy, Andy Dozier of Hubbertville, Donald Dozier of Fayette and Karen Tucker (Dennis) of Bankston. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
