It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Norris of Fayette, Alabama, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry Norris to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Norris and Annie Lou Smith Norris; and his sister Sarah Sue Tucker. He is survived by: his wife Marie Norris of Fayette; his children, Joshua Norris (Amy) of Bankston, Tommy Sickles (Pamela) of Fayette, Joseph Norris (Karen) of Northport, Phillip Norris (Britney) of Fayette, Angie Allison (Jeff) of Fayette and Jessica Cantrell (Devin) of Fayette; and his siblings, Doyle Norris, Jr. (Ruth) of Winfield, Kenneth Norris (Vickie) of Rainbow City, Robert Dale Norris of Eldridge, Jewel Chaney of Berry, Carrielou Norris of Eldridge and Lounell Norris of Eldridge. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel (3659 AL-171, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (3659 AL-171, Fayette, AL 35555).
