He is survived by: his children, Joey Welch (Shelly), John Welch (Chrissy), Roy Welch (Cassie), Debbie Merchant, Jeannie Weeks (Roger), Sandra Myrick (David) and Amanda Welch; and his brothers, Mitchell Welch (Jean) and Steve Welch (Ann). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
