He is survived by: his children, Joseph Lewis Swindle, Jeffery Lynn Swindle, Nina Delaune Fanning (Matthew) and Ciera Robertson (Wesley); and his sisters, Shirley Gear, Jewel Hill (Jerry), Betty Kinnan and Dellar S. Smith. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
