With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Opal Knight (Fayette, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Aldridge and Ada Moore Aldridge; and her siblings, Roy, James, Raymond, Elmer, David, Cois Aldridge, Catherine Butler, Christine Lawrence, Geraldine Elliott and Earline McAdams.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Knight; her daughters, Kim Rainwater (David) of Cherryville, NC and Kelli Kimbrell (Brad) of Northport, AL; her grandson Travis Rainwater; and her brother Olen Aldridge of Aliceville, AL.. She is also survived by nieces and, nephews.
