She was predeceased by: her husband Barry Medders; her parents, O. R. "Pete" Smith and Minnie Alma Campbell Smith; and her son Charles Douglas Kumpu. She is survived by: her daughter Monica Logsdon (Jaryl); and her grandson Noah Logsdon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
