He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbie Smith and Marie Williams Smith; his former wife Carolyn Smith; and his wife Shirley Smith. He is survived by: his children, Keela Eldridge (Bill), Laura Holder (Spencer), Aaron Smith (Alana), Mark Smith (Lori) and Charlie Wilson (Andrea); his grandchildren, Brandy Graham (Tom), Daniel Smith (Monika), Chris Smith (Tiffany), Derrick Clayton (Lori), Curtis Clayton (Sabrina), Alex Croft (Mireya Juan), Ansley Barreda (Tristan), Aiden Smith, Chas Holder (Makayla), Colin Wilson, Connor Wilson and Dakota Holder (Lorie); and his siblings, Tommy Smith (Donna), Larry Smith (Teresa), Kelly Smith, Martha Warden (Danny) and Tabitha Graben (Wesley). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981).
