He is survived by: his wife Genella Jean Chapman Weldon; his daughter Phyllis Stephens (Donald); his grandchildren, Tommy Stephens (Alisha) and Amy Jones (Heath); his great grandchildren, Allie Grace Stephens, Claire Stephens, Jackson Jones and Maddox Jones; his siblings, Edna Weldon, Helen Weldon, Betty Schweda (Joe), Arland Welden (Sue), Clarence Weldon and Norman Weldon; his half-brothers, James Weldon and Earl Weldon; Kim Higdon (Marty) and Karen Biddle (Darren). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
