She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Avery and Opal Lancaster Hurst; her husband Howard "Buddy" Lewis; her grandson Jacob Lewis; and her siblings, Diane Williams and Gary Hurst.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Lewis (Cheryl) and Kristie Smith (Warren); her grandchildren, Brandon Lewis (Anna), Christopher Lewis (Katelynn), Clayton Smith (Gracie) and Kaylee Hatchett (Zach); her great grandchildren, Sawyer Lewis, Weston Smith, Baylor Lewis, Denver Lewis, James Smith, Trenton Hatchett and Andruw Hatchett; and her sister Margaret McCord.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
