He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cleveland and Annie McKenzie Smith; his son Mike Smith; his grandchildren, Timothy Smith and Erica Hart; and his sisters, Lois Stewart and Orma Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Smith; his daughters, Debbie Allison and Lisa Crane (Johnny); his stepchildren, Pat Smith (Darryl), Deborah Smith (Paul), Teresa Porter, Vicki Smith and Wayne Teem (Julie); and his sister Linda Bomain. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
