He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Hammond; his parents, James Curtis Hammond and Nora Ethel Bedgood; and his brother Jimmy Hammond. He is survived by: his sons, George Randy Hammond (Debbie) and Richard Steven Hammond (Linda); his grandchildren, Justin Shiver, Lori Brown, Sabrina Hammond, Haley Hammond, Jason Hammond, Stephanie Martin and Joe Cupido III; and his sister Jackie Griffin. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
