Helen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Helen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Helen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bubba Toomer and Helen Toomer; her husband Donald Bergen; and her sister Olivia Christine Weaver. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Bergen of Pensacola and Teresa Garrett (Jasper) of Flomaton; her brother Oliver Wayne Allen of Bluff Springs; her grandson Matthew Garrett (Beth); and her great grandchild Gentry Garrett.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Beulah Chapel Assembly of God Cemetery (4200 Ebenezer Church Rd, Jay, FL 32565).
