She was predeceased by: her husband Roy C Messer; her parents, Estia Curtis McGugin and Alma Ree Pettis McGugin; and her daughter Baby Vaughn. She is survived by: her children, James Tyner, Lessie Roberts (Vickie), Marie Mitchell (Orell), Cindy Roberts (Veron) and Charlene Lingenfelter (Josh). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1972 Sixth St, Florala, AL 36442). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
