We bid farewell to Carol Davis Thornton (Florala, Alabama), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 20, 2025 at the age of 80. Carol Davis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Davis and Jessie Belle Davis; her grandson Ricky Snow; and her siblings, James T Davis, Margaret Davis Landingham and Elizabeth Davis.
She is survived by: her children, John David Pool, Lori Michele Jopling (Bruce), Kristie Campbell (Scott) and Misty Ferrell (Michael); her brothers, Lamar Davis (Cindy) and Manuel Davis (Glenda); and her grandchildren, Nikki Snow Tyner (Josh), Scott Snow, Christopher Pool, Jessica Pool Frazier (John), McKenna Ferrell, Mallory Ferrell, McCade Ferrell and Madeline Ferrell. She is also survived by one great great granddaughter, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evans Funeral Home (1972 Sixth St, Florala, AL 36442). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Carol Davis Thornton's memory to Cancer Freeze, P.O. Box 92, Florala, AL 36442 or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave, 16th Floor, New York, New York 10001, supporting the causes she held dear to her heart.
