He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Braun; his parents, Charles Braun and Ethel Pickron Braun; and his siblings, Thomas Braun and Leoda Samuels.
He is survived by: his son Mal Braun Jr.; his granddaughter Laurn Lowery; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Nash Lowery. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
