She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Strickland and Mary Wise Strickland; her husband Alton "Bub" Martin; her son Dwayne Davis; her granddaughter Renee Davis; and her siblings, Merlin Simpler, Hilda Aplin, Reba Gillman, Shelby Simmons, Franklin Strickland, Roger Strickland and Martha White.
She is survived by: her children, Scotty Davis (Denise) of Kinston and Eddie Chance (Jennifer) of Destin; her grandchildren, Dwayne Davis (Tiffany) of Navarra, Dawson Davis of Kinston, Hannah Chance of Destin, Ethan Chance of Destin and Madelyn Chance of Destin; her great grandchildren, Dylan Davis, Taylor Davis, Aubrey Davis, Mishaylyn Goodwin, Elizabeth Chambers and Sebastian Chambers of Panama City; and her sister Diann Thomas (Doug Bell) of Geneva. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evans Funeral Home (1972 Sixth St, Florala, AL 36442). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
