He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Griffin and Goldie Griffin; and his wife Mary Griffin. He is survived by: his daughter Sissy Zimmerman; his grandchildren, Josh Jackson (Courtney), Chrysee Sparks (Michael), Brandon Garner and Steven Byers; and his niece Penny Garner (Ronnie). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery (13667 AL-55, Florala, AL 36442).
