She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lisheness and Marion Lisheness; her husband Eddie Koontz; her son William Scott Hines; her grandson Coby Hines; and her sister Jane Lisheness.

She is survived by: her children, John Hines Daniel Hines (Tara) and E. J. Kelsey (Mike); her brother Robert Lisheness; her grandchildren, Morgan Hines (David White), Anthony Hines, Eli Hines, Chloe Kelsey and Alyssa Hines; and her great grandchildren, Isaiah Scott Elmer White and Allana Faith White.
