She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Earwood; her parents, Horace Cox and Ruth Cox Hester; and her sister Peggy Farrell. She is survived by: her son Brian Earwood (Kim); her brother Bobby Cox (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Daniel Earwood (Cat) and A. J. Earwood (Sadee); her nieces, Lauren Cox Rodgers (Hunter) and Ashley Athon (Jim); and her nephew Bernie Farrell (Lisa).
