She was predeceased by : her parents, William Russell and Lenolia Howard Russell; her husband David E. Simmons; and her brothers, Johnny, Larry and Jerry Russell.
She is survived by : her children, Bobby Russell, Shane (Robin), Paul Simmons (Crystal Flanagan) and Kimberly Strickland (Joel); her siblings, Buddy Russell and Mary Brooks; and her grandchildren, Troy, Dustin Simmons, Chelsey, Ashlyn Strickland, Bobby Dan Russell and Jesse Sherrod. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
