With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Hooks of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allious Murry Lovelace and Jimmie Pearl Hendrix Lovelace; her husband Bobby Hooks; and her siblings, Elizabeth McGee (Lib), Jerry Porter and Jimbo Lovelace.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Pierce (Steve), Susan Pierce (David) and Beth Bigbee (Clint); her grandchildren, Clay Bigbee, Cole Bigbee (Brianna) and Breeanna Bigbee; her great grandchild Payson C. Bigbee; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Lovelace; and her great-niece Katie McGee Williams. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
