It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Vess Mauldin of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Vess and Francis Inez Vess; and her former husband Ray Mauldin. She is survived by: her daughters, Tonya Beyersdorf (Tim Wesson), Rhonda Guenther (Jim) and Teresia Moore (Gene); and her grandchildren, Chris Clark, Darrel Clark, Kristen Johnson (Mitch), Tyler Guenther (Jane) and Caleb Beyersdorf (Erika). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
