She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest J. Bourg and Leona Chatagnier Bourg; her grandparents, Willis and Louvinia Lyons Chatagnier; her son Patrick Paul Giroir; and her siblings, Mary Joyce Bourg, Melissa Bourg, Sarah Ann Bourg and Patrick Paul Bourg.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Giroir; her children, Selena Clare Benoit (Bernie) and Christopher Giroir (Stephanie); her sisters, Brunella Duplantis, Debra Dehart and Bonnie Eubanks; her grandchildren, Jonathan Benoit, David Benoit, Michael Giroir, Sarah Breaux, Matthew Giroir and Paige Means; and her daughter-in-law Carol Giroir. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
