He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rideout and Nancy Stricklin Rideout; and his siblings, Grady Rideout, Ernest Rideout, Earl Rideout, J. H. Rideout, Earline Simmons, Laverne Richardson, Gladys Grisham and Dot Muston.
He is survived by: his wife Verlie Putman Rideout; his children, Randall Rideout (Patty), Brent Rideout (Tracey) and Michelle Rideout; his grandchildren, Juston Rideout, Brent Rideout (Lindsey), Tosha Hensley (Travis), Kendall Rideout, Tanner Swann and Levi Rideout; and his great grandchildren, Shyston, Barrett, Treylan, Owen, Alyssa Rideout, Izzy, Bennett, Mila, Macey Rideout, Raylee, Avalynn Hensley, Coleton Foster and Hannah Woods.
