Buford Durham Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Buford Durham Jr. of Florence, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jo Durham; his parents, Buford Durham and Gladys Durham; and his siblings, Tommy, J. W., Sammy, Jimmy and Barbara Bolden.
He is survived by: his daughter Beverley Parker (Marcus); his stepdaughters, Shelia Sledge (John) and Sharon Carter; his grandchildren, Marc Parker, Brandon Purser, Breanna Bennett, Leslie and Sarah Beth Sledge; and his sister Kathy Horton. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenview Funeral Home (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chisholm Hills Church of Christ (2810 Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35630).
