He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emma Carolyn Ousley and Calloway Burns Napier; his sister Maudie Mae; his brother-in-law Lynzie Slone of Martin, Kentucky.; his wife Ellen Ruth Buchanan; his daughter Lisa; his birth parents, Calloway and Emma Napier; his adoptive parents, Lynzie Slone and Maude Mae Slone; his siblings, Edward Napier, Lindbergh Napier and Helena Redmon; his stepbrothers, Charles Napier and Carlos Napier; his son-in-law Peter Paine of Florence, Alabama; his grandchildren, Ryan Paine of Los Angeles, California and Emma Paine Vo (Jeremi) of Birmingham, Alabama.; and his friend Steve Tucker.
