It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlous Chaney of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carlous Chaney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Russell Chaney and Eva Mae Clanton Chaney; and his brothers, Lendon Chaney, Lavon Chaney, David Chaney and Bobby Chaney.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Chaney Thomas of Florence, Charles "Chick" Chaney of Cloverdale and Larry Chaney (Margaret) of Florence. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Other family members in attendance will social distance outside the cemetery fence.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Carlous' memory to St. Jude or any other charity of your choice.
