She was predeceased by: her husband Roy C. Cooper; her parents, Charles H. Rose and Senora Beatrice Rose; her siblings, Irene Hill Wright, Arthur Rose and Charles Rose, Jr.; and her grandsons, Chesley Dennis and Dustin Dennis Quillen (Emma Thi).
She is survived by: her siblings, Martha Ann Hill, Josephine Morris, Katie Rogers (Howard) and Boyd Beecher Rose (Blanche); her children, Janet Quillen Wilkes, Beatrice Jane Cooper and Milton Cooper (Regina); her great grandchild Sky Merrell (Bradley); and her great great grandchildren, Hunter and Anna Merrell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
