He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Black and Joyce Black; and his former wife Shelia Putman Black. He is survived by: his daughter Leann Black; his siblings, Kathy Akridge (Larry) and Steve Black (Denise); and his nephews, Samuel Akridge and Stephen Akridge (Celisa).
