Chester Freeman Watkins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2023, at the age of 88, Chester Freeman Watkins (Florence, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Watkins and Maudie Fields Watkins; his wives, June Watkins and Barbara Watkins; and his sister Betty Jeffries.
He is survived by: his children, Chip Watkins, Chuck McKinney (Judy), Regina Mathis (David) and Pam Bush (Craig); and his grandchildren, Molly Mathis, Ryan McKinney, Katie Threet, Whitney McKinney, Alicia Threet, Ty Threet, Caleb Caperton and Christopher Caperton. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, we would like donations sent to Mitchell Hollingsworth, Station 5, to be given to the nurses and CNA's that were so helpful and good to our dad.
