He was predeceased by: his father Vernon Lee Burgess; and his grandparents, Alvin, Alma Burgess, Paul "Bug" and Jeffie Purser.
He is survived by: his mother Frances Purser Burgess; his sons, Colby Lee Burgess and Josh Keeton; his granddaughter Ragen Keeton; his former wife Janie Michelle Burgess; his nieces, Allie Haddock, Ava and Addison Hill; his nephew Spencer Wade Haddock; and his sister Amanda Haddock (Spencer).
