He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Yerbey Rhodes; his parents, John Henry Rhodes and Florence Rhodes; and his siblings, Joyce Hayes, Nadine Cox, Evelyn Purser, Grady, Dalton, Bob and Larry Rhodes.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Rhodes Westmoreland (Ron); his granddaughters, Mary Rippey and Anna Bingham (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Brannan Rippey, Kalen, Will and Nate Bingham.
