It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Eugene Hamm (Florence, Alabama), who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan Hamm; and his siblings, Martha Scott, Butch and Phillip Hamm. He is survived by: his wife Kay Hamm; his daughter Chrystyl Smith (Eric); his grandchildren, Gunner and Makenzie Smith; his siblings, Linda Holden, Judy Tidwell, Renee Hamm, Sammy Hamm (Cathy), Greg Hamm (Trish), Gerald Hamm and Wayne Hamm; and his sister-in-law Ruth Harrison (Charles). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in his memory to Colbert County EMA Search and Rescue, Alabama Marine Patrol Division at 1830 Constellation Avenue, Alpine, AL 35016 or ALEA.gov, Christian Aid Ministries, Daphne Search and Rescue at P.O. Box 41, Daphne, AL 36526, Florence/Lauderdale Search and Rescue, Alabama Law Enforcement, Alabama Fire, and any other agencies who helped in the recovery of Mr. Hamm.
