He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Tippett, Jr. and Alta Tippett; his brother-in-law Tommy Mabry; and his nephew Michael Mabry. He is survived by: his siblings, Danny Tippett, Darlene Tippett Mabry and Sherri Tippett; his niece Melanie Mabry Lovelace (Brandon); his great-nieces, Mabry Laine and Mary Michael Lovelace; and his pet Sassy.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenview Memorial Park (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633).
