It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Arthur Mays of Florence, Alabama, born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Linn Mays and Edith Mays (Breakey); and his wife Betty Ann Mays (Sellers). He is survived by: his son Gregory David Mays; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Schoetz Mays of Amissville; his daughter Laurie Ann Mays of Dallas, Texas.; his sister-in-law Fay Sellers of Colorado Springs; and his cousin Tom Gay of Thomasville, Florida. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, and numerous cousins.
