He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mildred Kilburn Phillips; his daughters, Kayla Passarella (John) and Kimberly Russell (Shayne); his siblings, Bobby "Little Bob" Phillips (Nikki), Keith Phillips (Jaimee), Jamie Phillips, Sandra "Sandi" Grigsby (Jeff) and Mandy Moore; his parents, Loyd "Buddy" Phillips and Peggy Jean Atwell Phillips; his brother Ricky Phillips; and his grandparents, Arthur, Audie Phillips, Casey and Frances Atwell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenhill Funeal Home (8450 US-43, Florence, AL 35634). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Michael's Cemetery (2751 Co Rd 30, Florence, AL 35634). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location.
