She is survived by: her husband James Vess; her mother Judy Fountain; her daughters, Kimberly Dianne Taylor (Chris), Brandi Renee Judd and Stefani Michelle Guthrie (Dee); her brother Luke Fountain; her grandchildren, Hallie Grace Taylor, Gabriel Christopher Taylor, Colin Michael Judd (Carneshia), Anthony Paul Judd, Sarah Nicole Judd, Isaiah Judd and Nicholas Judd; and her great grandchildren, Adrian Judd and Aaliyah Judd.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wood Avenue Rec Center (420 N Royal Ave, Florence, AL 35630).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Diane's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
