With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dolores Carroll Taylor of Florence, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Bill Carroll and Roger Taylor; her parents, Frank Witcher and Exa Witcher; her son Bobby Carroll; her grandson Spencer Christian Carroll; and her brother Dale Witcher.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Carroll (Gail) and Ricky Carroll (Vicki); her daughter-in-law Shari Carroll; her sister Joyce Hunt; her sisters-in-law, Peggy Davis and Zelda Carroll; her stepson Dale Taylor (Gail); and her grandchildren, Lindsey Carroll, Josh Carroll, Clay Carroll, Avery Carroll, Ivy Carroll and Will Carroll. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House or the Riverbend Center for Mental Health.
