We are sad to announce that, on December 6, 2025, at the age of 91, Don Bevis of Florence, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Bevis and Maymie Bevis; his siblings, James Bevis, Elaine Hill and Shirley Swicegood; his siblings-in-law, Mary Bevis and A. W. Martin; and his nephews, Donnie and Ronnie Hanback.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Bevis; his sister Faye Martin; his siblings-in-law, Kathy Jones, Jean Manns and Gerald Swicegood; and his nieces and nephews, Sidney Bevis (Susan), Larry Hill (Charlotte), Greg Hill, Billy Wayne Hanback, Randy Hanback, Jamey Swicegood (Jennifer), Tracy Murphy (Mark), Lori Larkin (Scott), Carol Hanback, Susie Hanback Mitchell and Amy Broadfoot (Kevin). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
