She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Rodgers and Hautie Curtis Rodgers; and her husband Melvin Junior Boyd, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Melvin Boyd, Jr., Eddie Boyd (Lynda), Mark Boyd (Penny), Neal Boyd, Shane Boyd (Elissa), Melba McKey (Buford Ray), Nancy Boyd and Mechelle Eaton (Shane); and her siblings, Rex Rodgers and Virginia Moore. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
