We are sad to announce that, on December 29, 2019, at the age of 87, Edsel Price Holden (Florence, Alabama), born in Athens, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Inez Austin Holden; his parents, Betty M. Holden and Percy P. Holden; his children, Laura Michelle Holden, Laura Irvine, Edsel Price Holden (Trudy) and Anthony Austin Holden (Barbara); his sisters, Cherie Gregory and Marie Whitney; and his grandchildren, Edsel Holden III (Elise), Aubrey Holden, Kylie Holden, Austin Holden, Elizabeth Invine and Oliver Irvine.

From 2009-2019, He did benefit concerts for the Shoals Theatre, Shoals Scholar Dollars Program, and the Florence Academy of Fine Arts and then chose the UNA Band as his charity of choice.
